Sesame Street

Sesame Street is an American children's television series known for its educational content, creatively communicated through the use of Jim Henson's Muppets, animation, short films, humor, and cultural references. Muppets are the most famous of the Sesame Street characters.

Sesame Street is the only show which is known to have been addictive in nature and done some good by educating children. Reasearch conducted in the 1970-71 demonstrated that the show had a significant educational impact on its viewers. Sesame Street was built around a single, breakthrough insight: that if you can hold the attention of children, you can educate them. The same is achieved through the creative use of the Sesame Street Games, Sesame Street characters, Sesame Street videos and Sesame Street songs.
